At the end of December 2012, Blue Medora announced it had closed on a round of financing with a focus on turbocharging our market-leading product presence in the Application Performance Management (APM) space beyond our traditional roots, which have been focused on IBM Tivoli monitoring. Since then much has happened. We’ve been busy developing new capabilities in our VMware-focused product for Oracle Enterprise Manager (EM). We’ve been expanding the team. We’ve had an incredible amount of customer and partner interest in our EM focused solutions as Blue Medora continues to stake out a leadership position in the EM ecosystem. As we continue to gain both insights from and momentum in the Oracle marketplace, we are pleased to share some important announcements are upcoming events that are the culmination of a lot of work by a lot of people. Although I will touch on them below, you can always talk to our team directly by contacting us at firstname.lastname@example.org.
VMware Plug-in Feature Pack 1 release
Drum roll, please. The eagerly-anticipated Blue Medora EM Plug-in for VMware Feature Pack 1 is planned for an early February, 2013 release. This release is the first of what will be a series of product releases and enhancements that will break the current enterprise management virtualization paradigm wide open. Here’s just a taste of what you can expect from the upcoming release:
- New integrated dashboard views of Oracle database performance and availability within the context of VMware
- Deeper visibility into Oracle on VMware storage-related bottlenecks
- Integrated knowledge base to help end-users understand steps required to remediate performance and availability issues
And the best news is that all of these game-changing capabilities are being made available to our current customers at no additional charge.
