Gain Advanced Warning of Digital Certification Expiration
The Blue Medora Agent for Remote SSL Certificates monitors the life cycle of remote X.509 based digital certificates. The agent connects to a SSL enabled TCP listeners or SMTP servers secured with TLS and interrogates the X.509 certificates for information related to certificate validity based on the current date, the certificate's valid lifetime, subject, and other key data elements.
IT administrator can quickly and easily set up complex monitoring
scenarios that, when combined with ITM-based Situations, Take-Actions,
and Policies, can be used to implement automated workflows that provide
alerts for scenarios such as when hosts are unreachable or when hosts
are responding slowly.
With Blue Medora ITM Agent for Remote SSL Certificates,
you gain the ability to remote evaluate the following attributes about
an SSL or TLS/SMTP accessible X.509 digital certificate:
- Issuer of the certificate
- Expiration Date of certificate
- Number of Days until certificate expiration
- Whether the certificate has expired or not

The Blue Medora Agent for Remote SSL Certificates has been
designed from the ground up to look, feel, and operate like existing
IBM-developed ITM agents in terms of ITM remote deployment,
manageability via ITM command-line utilities, and installation and
configuration.

- Takes advantage of ITM's Tivoli Enterprise Portal (TEP) visualization capabilities to include best practices, expert advice, customized workspaces, and historical data gathering
